Customer Service Representative
Nexen Technology Inc. is a global organization specializing in manufacturing, designing, and distributing battery solutions for portable devices (i.e. notebook, pda, digital camera, ipod, etc...). With our headquarters in Taiwan, we have offices in the U.S., Germany, and China, enabling us to support customers in over twenty countries.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Processes RMA requests, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintains customer records by updating account information.
- Provides independent, courteous, problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Processes orders, confirms pricing and availability of product.
Our office is located in Irwindale, CA (15 minutes east of Pasadena on the 210). We provide a great PPO medical and dental plan, paid vacation for full time employees, and holidays.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven Organization Skills ( High degree needed)
- High energy and a “can-do” attitude required
- Ability to manage multiple, competing demands
- Ability to quickly adapt to change and random spikes in work load
- Solid communication skills with a strong appreciation for high customer service levels
- A strong appreciation for “business flow” and accuracy
- Task oriented with a strong initiative to complete daily work load
- Personal drive toward individual performance while embracing team goals / atmosphere
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Must have previous experience in a work environment with heavy in-bound call volume.
