Warehouse Supervisor
Nexen Technology Inc. is a global organization specializing in manufacturing, designing, and distributing battery solutions for portable devices (i.e. notebook, pda, digital camera, ipod, etc...). With our headquarters in Taiwan, we have offices in the U.S., Germany, and China, enabling us to support customers in over twenty countries.
This individual will supervise warehouse workers and own the receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of merchandise or materials cycle. In addition, maintains stock records and schedules. An ability to manage and work well with other colleagues is a necessity. We are seeking an individual who can accomplish set goals and perform a variety of complicated tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Our office is located in Irwindale, CA (15 minutes east of Pasadena on the 210). We provide a great PPO medical and dental plan, paid vacation for full time employees, and holidays.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in warehouse supervision or combined 4+ years of warehouse experience
- Inventory cycle count experience.
- Full knowledge of the order fulfillment process, receiving goods, and processing freight claims.
- Attention to detail and deadlines, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- The ability to effectively manage up to 6 employees.
- Familiar with a variety of the warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Forklift certification, forklift training experience, and pallet jack experience is required.
- Ability to understand and use WMS application preferred
- Must be experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel
- A high energy and professional "can-do" attitude
- Organized and detail oriented
