Warehouse Worker
Nexen Technology Inc. is a global organization specializing in manufacturing, designing, and distributing battery solutions for portable devices (i.e. notebook, pda, digital camera, ipod, etc...). With our headquarters in Taiwan, we have offices in the U.S., Germany, and China, enabling us to support customers in over twenty countries.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Receiving, Quality Control, Shipping, Stocking, Order-Filling and Customer Returns.
- Selects product by following the item specified on the picking document and locating it by the item number and warehouse location code information provided.
- Records amount of product filled and indicate any discrepancies in inventory from the picking document.
- Performs necessary emergency replenishment for products that run below minimum levels to meet customer order demands from the daily order selection shift.
- Monitors the accuracy of the customer order.
- Maintains assigned order selections area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Supports other order selection personnel in order selection process to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of products.
- Accepts other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Lead, Warehouse Supervisor, and/or Director of Operations.
Our office is located in Irwindale, CA (15 minutes east of Pasadena on the 210). We provide a great PPO medical and dental plan, paid vacation for full time employees, and holidays.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in warehouse order filling or distribution center processes a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks, establish and coordinate work priorities.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Must be dependable and adapt to changing work priorities with ease.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- May be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
